Actually, the question should be "Is your designer selling for you?" Does that sound crazy? Should it? Why?
Unless your designer knows everything there is to know about selling your product or service, its sales cycle and unique challenges, she cannot design a piece that will help you sell. The more your designer knows about you and your product and service, the more effective solutions she can design for you. And the less she knows about you, the less helpful her solutions will be to you.
